Jim Miles, whose photograph, Gourds, is on this issue’s cover, lives on a small farm in Mooresville, Indiana and works at Eli Lilly as a project manager. Active in photography for over thirty years to satisfy a creative itch, this is his first published work. He and his wife, Marla, show quarter horses and Jim has a State Championship in reining under his belt. They currently show pleasure horses in a four-state area and in their spare time enjoy dogs and cats, gardening, cooking with friends and taking the "scenic route" to every destination, capturing every photographic opportunity available.
