next to the puzzle-piece artist
drawing a cursive A (for Annie) on her shoulder
that she says is so they can identify
her body when the hurricanes dry.
He laughs a little. Tells her
it will never
happen but makes it beautiful anyway.
She smiles & says:
How nice to be this close
to a man again.
